    Who was Ohara Koson?

    Ohara Koson (1877–1945), also known by the names Shōson and Hoson, was a prominent Japanese artist who specialized in kachō-e (pictures of flowers and birds). He is particularly appreciated for his delicate and detailed depictions of birds in various settings, from snow-covered landscapes to colorful flower gardens.

    Product description

    The motif consists of two sparrows, one feeding the other, under a branch with yellow flowers and green leaves. The soft earthy and beige tones give a tranquil impression, while the clear contours reflect the classic Japanese aesthetic. This poster by Ohara Koson is ideal for calmer room environments.
