    Who was Goyō Hashiguchi?

    Goyō Hashiguchi (1880–1921) was a Japanese artist whose work marks an important bridge between traditional Japanese ukiyo-e and the modern shin-hanga movement of the early 20th century. He was known for his refined aesthetic and ability to combine classical themes with a modern sensibility.

    Product description

    A seated woman is depicted in a dark blue, patterned summer kimono with white details, placed against a light background and with red and blue textiles in the image. Detailed lines and muted colors create a peaceful feeling. This poster with works by Goyō Hashiguchi brings an artistic touch to the home.
