Poster with the painting "The Rue Mosnier with Flags" by the French artist Édouard Manet from 1878. Manet was the forerunner and source of inspiration for French Impressionism. The Impressionists were influenced by Manet's lack of interest in the subjects of the painting and his emphasis on the artist's total freedom in the choice of colors and denominations.
