    Who was Paul Klee?

    Paul Klee , born December 18, 1879 in Münchenbuchsee, canton Bern, died June 29, 1940 in Muralto, Ticino, was a German-Swiss painter, printmaker and art theorist. Klee taught as a teacher at the Bauhaus art school in Weimar from 1921 and later in Dessau. From 1931 he was a professor at the Düsseldorf Art Academy. Paul Klee is one of the most important classical modern artists of the 20th century.
