He is best known for his Impressionist and Post-Impressionist works. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and began to explore Impressionism in the 1890s. He was one of the first Austrian artists to experiment with Impressionist techniques. Moll's works often focus on landscape painting with beautiful villages, views of Vienna and nature scenes. His paintings are known for having a soft, poetic style and a vivid color scheme that is filled with light and contrast. Moll is also known for his portraits and still lifes. His portraits often capture a wondrous and intimate atmosphere that gives life to his figures.
