Poster with the painting Pont Neuf by the French painter and illustrator Auguste Renoir from 1872. Auguste Renoir is considered one of the foremost impressionists. He is known for his motifs of children, young women, landscapes and flowers. Pont Neuf (French for "New Bridge") is, despite its name, the oldest surviving bridge over the River Seine in Paris. It was completed in 1607.
