One of the most famous aircraft ever produced, the model is a British fighter designed by Reginald Joseph Mitchell in the 1930s. The plane was one of the most important fighter aircraft during World War II. The Spitfire struck fear into German pilots as the fighter combined speed and power with superb maneuverability. Top speed was 594 km/h.
